WASHINGTON, March 8, 2023 – On Thursday, March 9, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will address the media to highlight how President Biden’s Budget for Fiscal Year 2024 will help continue to grow the economy from the bottom up and middle out, lower costs for families, and provide the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) with the tools to invest in an equitable and climate smart food and agriculture economy that protects and improves the quality of life for all Americans. The President’s budget builds on the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to making critical, targeted investments in the American people that will promote greater prosperity and economic growth for decades to come. Following Secretary Vilsack’s remarks, USDA Office of Budget and Program Analysis Director John Rapp will be available to answer questions on USDA’s FY2024 budget.
