Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to Hold Virtual Roundtable and Press Call to Announce Biden-Harris Administration Efforts to Enhance the Health of America's Children 

WASHINGTON, Feb. 2, 2023 – Tomorrow, Friday, February 3, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will hold a virtual roundtable with child nutrition stakeholders and announce major steps USDA is taking to support and enhance the health of America's children through nutritious school meals. Ensuring children have consistent access to meals that follow the latest nutritional guidance is a key aspect of the Biden-Harris Administration’s National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, which committed to reducing hunger, diet-related diseases, and health disparities by 2030. The roundtable conversation will be livestreamed at usda.gov/live. Following the roundtable, Secretary Vilsack will hold a press call with reporters.
