You are invited to join a press call with Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, who will discuss a historic investment being made by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through its Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities funding opportunity. The investment in projects nationwide will expand markets for climate-smart commodities, leverage the greenhouse gas benefits of climate-smart commodity production and provide direct, meaningful benefits to production agriculture, including for small and underserved producers.
The call will be on-the-record, and take place tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13 at 1 PM ET. Any materials sent in advance and the contents of the call are embargoed until Wednesday, September 14 at 5 AM ET. Following the lift of the embargo, Secretary Vilsack will deliver livestreamed remarks on Wednesday, September 14 at 11 AM ET at usda.gov/live.
