Secretary Perdue in Michigan TOMORROW
(Washington, D.C., October 22, 2020) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be in Michigan TOMORROW, October 23rd for a visit to Michigan’s largest soybean processor and to participate in a Michigan Farm Bureau Townhall.

Secretary Perdue to Visit ZFS Ithaca
WHAT: Secretary Perdue will tour ZFS Ithaca, a 40 million bushel per year soybean processing operation and discuss the facility’s impact on the local economy and jobs. Following the tour, Secretary Perdue will hold a media availability.

Secretary Perdue to Participate in Townhall with Michigan Farmers
WHAT: Secretary Perdue will join Michigan Farm Bureau President Bednarski in a townhall with Michigan farmers to talk about issues impacting agriculture and rural communities including trade, Coronavirus Food Assistance Program direct payments, and the President’s actions to improve prosperity in rural America. Following the townhall, Secretary Perdue will hold a media availability.
