(Washington, D.C., October 12, 2020) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will join Congressman Mike Bost, Congressman John Shimkus, and Illinois Farm Bureau President Richard Guebert to make a virtual broadband ReConnect announcement event TOMORROW, Tuesday October 13th at 4:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. CT). Secretary Perdue will be announcing millions of dollars in ReConnect Program investments that will bring high-speed broadband internet to thousands of people living in rural communities in Illinois.
