(Washington, D.C., August 4, 2020) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be in Hatfield, PA and Nottingham, MD on Wednesday, August 5th. The Secretary will travel to Hatfield, PA to visit Clemens Food Group, a pork processing company partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to deliver Farmers to Families Food Boxes – USDA has distributed over 50 million food boxes in support of American farmers and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Secretary will then visit Bowery Farming, an innovative, urban, indoor farm.
