(Washington, D.C., March 6, 2020) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will participate in a fireside chat at the School Nutrition Association 48th Annual Legislative Action Conference at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. on Monday, March 9th. The fireside chat will highlight USDA’s response to the Coronavirus as it relates to school meal programs, and talk about USDA’s actions to improve flexibility, reduce food waste, and empower schools to serve meals children are eager to eat.
