(Washington, D.C., March 4, 2020) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be in Baltimore, Maryland to visit Jane Adams Resource Corporation (JARC) TOMORROW, Thursday, March 5th. The Secretary will participate in a tour of JARC and a roundtable with current and former trainees. During the roundtable the Secretary will discuss the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) proposed rule to enhance the opportunities Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participants have within Employment & Training to gain the skills they need to provide for their families and contribute to their communities.
