TODAY: Secretary Perdue and USDA Officials to Hold Press Call Regarding Details of the Support Package for Farmers
(Washington, D.C., July 25, 2019) U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue; U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Under Secretary Bill Northey; Acting Deputy Under Secretary Brandon Lipps; and USDA’s Chief Economist, Dr. Rob Johannson will hold an off-camera, on-the-record briefing regarding further details of the $16 billion package aimed at supporting American agricultural producers while the Administration continues to work on free, fair, and reciprocal trade deals TODAY, Thursday, July 25th. The briefing will be conducted via conference call beginning at 10:30am ET, and the information will be embargoed until the conclusion of the call. The number of lines are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please limit to one per outlet.
