(Washington, D.C., July 22, 2019) – Today, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Acting Deputy Under Secretary Brandon Lipps will hold an off-camera, on-the-record embargoed briefing regarding USDA’s specific plans to close the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) “Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility” Loophole.
