TODAY: Secretary Perdue and USDA Officials to Hold Press Call Regarding Support for Farmers Impacted by Unjustified Retaliation and Trade Disruption
(Washington, D.C., May 23, 2019) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue; U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Undersecretaries Greg Ibach, Ted McKinney, and Bill Northey; and other USDA staff will hold a briefing call regarding USDA’s specific plans to support farmers in response to damage from unjustified retaliation and trade disruption TODAY, Thursday, May 23rd. The briefing will be conducted via conference call beginning at 11:30am ET, and the information will be embargoed until the conclusion of the call.
