ADVISORY: Secretary Perdue in Alabama TOMORROW
(Washington, D.C., May 2, 2018) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be in Alabama tomorrow, May 3rd following an invitation from the Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture Robert B. Aderholt. The Secretary, Chairman Aderholt, and Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture John McMillan will meet with farmers and producers in Guin; join Governor Kay Ivey for a visit the Tombigbee Electric Cooperative in Hamilton; and tour the Jones Valley Teaching Farm at Woodlawn High School in Birmingham.
