Secretary Perdue in Texas with Chairman Conaway
(Washington, D.C., September 22, 2017) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue is in Texas again today, giving remarks and holding a media availability at the Southwest Council of Agribusiness meeting in Lamesa, Texas. Invited to go to Texas by Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller and joined by U.S. House of Representatives Agriculture Committee Chairman K. Michael Conaway, the Secretary has been traveling through Texas to survey agricultural damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. Secretary Perdue Gives Remarks at a Southwest Council of Agribusiness Meeting and Holds Media Availability
WHAT: Secretary Perdue will give remarks at the SWCA lunch meeting, conduct a question and answer session with Chairman Conaway, and hold a media availability immediately after.
