TOMORROW: Secretary Perdue Speaks at the School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference
(Washington, D.C., July 11, 2017) – U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue will speak to school nutrition professionals TOMORROW, Wednesday, July 12th at the School Nutrition Association's (SNA) 71st Annual National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. More than 7,000 will attend ANC to share best practices for improving menus, strengthening school meal programs and expanding student access to healthy meals. Secretary Perdue’s speech will begin at 9:40 a.m. ET. Media is invited to attend Secretary Perdue’s speech and participate in a 10:00 a.m. ET media availability with Secretary Perdue and incoming SNA President Dr. Lynn Harvey, RDN, LDN, FAND, SNS, Chief of School Nutrition Services for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Secretary Perdue will hold the following public events TOMORROW, Wednesday, July 12th.
9:40 a.m. ET: Secretary Perdue Speaks at the School Nutrition Association's (SNA) 71st Annual National Conference.
10:00 a.m. ET: Secretary Perdue and incoming SNA President Dr. Lynn Harvey hold media availability.
