Media webinar to include USDA staff and information on publicly-available federal resources

WASHINGTON, Jan 6, 2017 – TODAY at 4 pm, USDA officials will host a media webinar discussing the most recent analysis of expenses related to raising a child. This analysis provides the most current and comprehensive child-rearing cost estimates from birth through age 17, and is one of many federal tools available to consumers as they make financial decisions. As many Americans begin the new year by making financial resolutions, USDA officials will discuss additional federal resources to help improve financial literacy and support financial and nutritional health.
