Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Coca-Cola President Sandy Douglas to Announce National Water Restoration Success

 

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12, 2016 - Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will be joined by Coca-Cola North America President Sandy Douglas and conservation leaders on Tuesday, Sept. 13 to announce a major milestone in their partnership to restore and protect damaged watersheds on national forests. This event will celebrate the public-private partnership between the U.S. Forest Service, National Forest Foundation and Coca-Cola North America to restore watersheds on national forest lands.

 

National Forest Foundation President Bill Possiel, The Nature Conservancy Director of the North American Water Program Michael Reuter, and Trout Unlimited President Chris Wood will join Secretary Vilsack and Mr. Douglas for a panel discussion immediately following their announcement. Press will have the opportunity to ask questions immediately following the event.
