NATIONAL MEDIA CALL: Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to Announce $2.3 Billion for Rural Electric Infrastructure

WASHINGTON, Oct. 22, 2015 – TODAY, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will hold a national media call to announce nearly $2.3 billion in loans to build and improve rural electric infrastructure.

Since 2009, USDA has funded $34 billion in electric loans and more than $1 billion for smart grid technologies.
