USDA Tribal Affairs Official to Host Media Conference Call TODAY to Announce Support for Native American Communities
WASHINGTON, August 18, 2011– TODAY, USDA Senior Advisor for Tribal Affairs Janie Hipp will hold a media conference call to announce new investments for rural businesses to support job creation, train workers and bring transportation improvements to Native American communities.
The 15 states receiving support from USDA include: Alaska, California, Montana, Michigan, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
