Agriculture Secretary Vilsack and Energy Secretary Chu to Hold Conference call to Discuss Efforts to Reduce U.S. Oil Dependence  

 

WASHINGTON, May 5, 2011 – TODAY, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Energy Secretary Steven Chu will host a national media conference call to highlight Obama Administration efforts to move the nation towards a clean energy future and reduce America’s dependence on imported oil.

 

Secretaries Vilsack and Chu will be announcing biomass research and development grants to the following states: Florida, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, and South Carolina.
