  USDA Official to Release Final Report Assessing Use of Conservation in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed

 

WASHINGTON, March 14, 2011 – TOMORROW, the U.S. Department of Agriculture will release its final report on the effects of conservation practices on cultivated cropland in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. This is USDA’s second Conservation Effects Assessment Project (CEAP) study on cultivated cropland. CEAP quantifies the effects of conservation practices on cultivated cropland.
