USDA to Announce New Initiatives to End Hunger
Governor O’Malley and Agriculture Secretary Vilsack to Highlight Maryland Grant Recipient
WASHINGTON, Feb. 22, 2011 – TOMORROW, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley will announce the recipients of the 2011 Hunger Free Communities Grants and discuss the administration’s efforts to end hunger in America. The grants will fund research, planning, and activities designed to improve nutrition access to those in need.
