  Agriculture Secretary Vilsack to Continue Urging Congress to Pass Legislation to Improve School Meals

    WASHINGTON, Nov. 15, 2010 – TOMORROW, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will deliver the keynote address at The Aspen Institute's Health Stewardship Project’s Health Policy Symposium and discuss the importance of passing the child nutrition bill before the end of the 111th Congress.  Vilsack will highlight Obama administration’s priorities for improving school meals and the health of children across the nation nutrition, particularly focusing on childhood obesity as well as new efforts to improve health through preventative measures.
