Under Secretary Dallas Tonsager to Announce the Recipients of Rural Energy for America Program Funding
WASHINGTON, November 8, 2010 – TOMORROW, Agriculture Under Secretary for Rural Development Dallas Tonsager will host a national media conference call to announce the recipients of funding made available under USDA’s Renewable Energy For American Program (REAP) .
This program, authorized by the 2008 Farm Bill, helps farmers, ranchers and small rural business owners reduce their energy usage. This year more than 1,000 recipients were selected to receive funding under the program.
