LEWIS CENTER, Ohio, July 20, 2010 – Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today highlighted the Obama Administration's commitment to building long-term economic growth though investments provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act). The Secretary visited an Ohio manufacturing company that is using Recovery Act loan funds to provide jobs and opportunity by capitalizing on emerging energy and technology markets.
"NexTech Materials is a company on the cutting-edge of technology, creating the 21st century jobs consistent with Obama Administration efforts that are laying a new foundation for economic growth," Vilsack said. "USDA's Recovery Act loan programs will not only help the company retain and create good jobs but also help it continue to develop products and technologies that will move our nation into a clean energy future that conserves and protects our environment."
