Agriculture Secretary Vilsack to Hold Media Conference Call To Announce New Program to Expand Access to Private Land for Recreation
WASHINGTON, July 7, 2010 – Tomorrow, July 8, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will hold a media conference call announcing a new program to encourage forest and ranch land owners and operators to voluntarily open their lands for the enjoyment of wildlife dependent recreation.
Representatives from the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP), Association of Fish and Wildlife Association (AFWA) and Pheasants Forever also plan to participate in the call.
