  Agriculture Secretary Vilsack to Hold Conference Call to Discuss Proposed Rule to Increase Fairness in the Marketing of Livestock and Poultry
 
WASHINGTON, June 18, 2010 – TODAY, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will host a media conference call to discuss a proposed rule on fairness in the marketing of livestock and poultry. 

 This rule, required by the 2008 farm bill and through existing authority under the Packers and Stockyards act, will be published on June 22, 2010 by the USDA’s Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA).
