Obama Administration Officials to Hold Press Conference Call Today Regarding White House Conference on America’s Great Outdoors
WASHINGTON, Friday, March 26 – Nancy Sutley, Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, Secretary Ken Salazar, Department of the Interior, and Secretary Tom Vilsack, Department of Agriculture will hold a conference call with reporters today regarding the upcoming White House Conference on America’s Great Outdoors.
The conference will be held today in Washington D.C., and will address the challenges and opportunities surrounding modern-day land conservation, the smart and innovative conservation efforts underway in communities throughout the country, and the importance of reconnecting Americans and American families to the outdoors.
