WASHINGTON, October 7, 2009 "o Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will be joined by Assistant to the President for Science and Technology John Holdren and other federal science officials to announce the creation of a new National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) at USDA. Secretary Vilsack will make extended remarks on the future of agricultural science and research.
