USDA FARM TO FORK FESTIVAL
EARTH DAY, APRIL 22
WASHINGTON, April 16, 2009- USDA will hold its first Farm to Fork Festival on the National Mall to celebrate the unveiling of The People's Garden on Earth Day. There will be interactive demonstrations and information for children and adults about composting, organics, beekeeping, pollinators, soil, destructive bugs, and MyPyramid to name a few. Special guests include Woodsy Owl, Sammy Soil and Power Panther.
