"I started working with Mary on the day the President announced my nomination. Her leadership was instrumental in making my confirmation process run very smoothly. It was evident that she has a strong passion for agriculture, and her good working relationships with Members of Congress have been valuable to the department. She has a great respect and enthusiasm for the programs and people of the Department of Agriculture, and we will greatly miss working with her in this capacity.
