1.17 to be released in September

Hi,

It's been a while since 1.16 and it has gotten a little quieter around
tslib, fortunately! :)

1.17 will most probably add a CMake build environment and we still want
to sort out one possible bug in the median filter plugin before the
release. Other than that, it'll be a stability / compatibility release.

For the wider future we have big plan though :) Most probably we'll add
a "module-raw input-evdev" that is written against libevdev. Also,
having a cmake build seems to simplify development on Windows and github
user skirk can imagine writing a "module-raw input-windows". Even a
"module-raw input-x" written against X11's input might make sense to
have... we'll see.

so long,

                                martin
