It's been almost a year since the last tarball release, and I've had a few people asking when I intend to do another one. Things have calmed down recently, so this seems a good time. If you're one of the usual suspects who send me compile fixes for older distros, grabbing http://codemonkey.org.uk/projects/trinity/trinity-git-snapshot.tar.xz and letting me know if there are problems will make for a less eventful release. If all goes to plan, I'll put up 1.8 early next week.
