FYI: Ok, hours later and no success. "email-oauth2-proxy" asks for some tokens that you should get your hand on after the first successful oauth2 login - which is kind of a problem, when you do not get oauth2 working in the first place. Same happened with "evolution" - token required, but not available. I did not try thunderbird, 'cause the calender implementation was broken last time I tried add calender was a "must". So in the end it's outlook web client - what a riduculous clumsy gui, "seeing is believing" gets a totally new meaning.
