| Strange. Mine was set to firefox as well. I looked in kmenu and for some
| reason unknown to me it takes "firefox-3" to start firefox,
| while "firefox" does nothing but throw an error.

Neglected to mention that when I set the default from firefox to firefox-3, 
everything works as expected.
