if hdmi is initialized as first device and is picked up by pulse you must
change the index value in the modules. Here it looks like this

/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
options snd_hda_intel index=0
options snd-usb-audio index=1

This makes sure that the built in is always the first card.

Regarding pipewire, you can remove this package as it is not used by TDE.
