Nope, it is last:
        <prompt> echo $XDG_DATA_DIRS                        
        /usr/local/share:/usr/share:/opt/trinity/share
I guess ffx is being thorough.  (Or obsessive compulsive, or ...)

I will admit that I haven't looked into them too closely.  On my system
root's bashrc has just
        source /etc/profile
Hmmm... did the TDE build scripts do that?  (If so, that is a bit
antisocial and a bit peculiar.)

Huh.  I just did a grep for wget, and I see that of the SBo
packages I have (I was just surprised to see there are 400 of them on my
system), about 10 or 15 do downloads.  I stand corrected about the
unmitigated gall.  :-)
