According documentation https://wiki.debian.org/Floppy

you should create /mnt/floppy, give user the permissions and add user to
floppy group, then  adjust fstab
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto rw,user,noauto,exec,gid=floppy,umask=007 0 0

I don't have floppy anymore, but last time I checked it was working just
fine (also in TDE)
