Could this have anything to do with my issue? Pipewire is supposed to be backward-compatible with Pulse if you have all the right bits running, but I understand there are edge cases. However, the questions suggested by the Department of the Bleedin' Obvious are: is xine installed? Are all of the TDE multimedia packages installed (just in case this is an ioslave issue)? What is aRts set to use for output, assuming it's installed? E.
