I don't know what you mean about not booting from USB; maybe you need to 
change your bios settings to enable that. Or perhaps you refer to something 
else? 

In any case, on the other matter, about the public key for Debian (or any 
other repositories): You can circumvent this obstacle like so: 

sudo apt-get -o Acquire::AllowInsecureRepositories=true update

Or, if installing, etc., 

sudo apt-get -o Acquire::AllowInsecureRepositories=true install

The same goes for other apt-get commands. However ... as I am sure some here 
will be quick to tell you, get the valid keyrings ASAP, as you don't want to 
make a habit of doing this. It is just a temporary workaround.
