My sources list for TDE looks like this:

deb http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/deb/trinity-r14.1.x bookworm
main
deb http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/deb/trinity-builddeps-r14.1.x
bookworm main
deb-src http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/deb/trinity-r14.1.x
bookworm main
deb-src
http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/deb/trinity-builddeps-r14.1.x
bookworm main

To start, I would stick with stable builds, nothing fancy like preliminary
stable builds or testing.

And, just for full disclosure, I am actually running Devuan Daedalus, which is
the non-systemd equivalent of Debian Bookworm, so I changed those details in
these lines. If there anything doesn't work right, it could be that I have
miscopied something, but I believe it ought to be right.

When I first installed TDE, many moons ago, I started with the KDE5 Plasma
desktop. Personally, I find XFCE or Mate easier to work with. KDE5 messes up
your system in ten thousand little ways, and it's hard to get rid of that
krap. However, do whatever works best for you.
