The format is set in Settings/Configure kmail/Misc In my case, it's maildir, and I do have the compact option in the menu. > I am also needing to know how do I set up a MAILDIR directory to copy over > from Evolution to KMAIL? Not sure, but I think if you copy your maildir messages in the mail directory (~/.trinity/share/apps/kmail/mail) kmail should (re)create it's index files. If your messages are allready in directories, I would create the corresponding directories in kmail and copy the files in those. When I setup a new machine I usually copy the mail directory from my main machine (plus the kmail files from .trinity/share/config). Maybe the import option can be used, but I can't test. > Thanks, > Chris > > CM030@xxxxxxxxx Thierry ____________________________________________________ tde-users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web mail archive available at https://mail.trinitydesktop.org/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
