My last joke (concerning religion) also didn't go over well. This is a tough 
crowd. It's easier to get laughs at a NYC comedy club.

But seriously, folks ... 

Try localepurge, then choose only those locales which you want. But I am not 
sure if your issue is not perhaps deeper, and others may be better equipped 
to help you. 

Also, check the TDE keyboard tool (mine is kept in the systray); then do the 
same thing there. Choose those languages that you actually use. 

If it is a deeper issue, then I am not sure where to start looking.
