Felix, what is happening here inbetween? Are you logging into the system or
just waiting?

I assume the latter as we see tdm_greet being triggered, but it is not clear
what is happening in between

Nothing evident to me. More than two minutes elapse between "startup finished",
and next journal entry, for dbus-daemon[570]: [system] Activating service
name='org.trinity....

Is CPU at 100%? Is it at 0%? anything else worth of notice during the waiting?
There isn't anything so drastic in R14.1.0 that would/should cause such a long wait, so maybe the problem is somewhere else?
What happens if you start a session without tdm but using startx? or using a different dm instead?
