Yep, I've seen this too (albeit not with Firefox). I did not think it
was TDE,
but I'd have to test under another DE.

I had this issue with modern KDE before I switched to TDE. It also
happens with every other one of my Linux devices running various
different desktops and distributions (The ones I've tried are Ubuntu
Touch, Mate, Cinnamon, Gnome, and XFCE).
I noticed it only within the last year or so. I'm not sure what changes
or if I'm going insane.
