Hi all!

Does anybody know if there's a TDE way to replace <enter> with <shift>+<enter> for just one specific application windows? Reasomn is, that the last update broke OpenSCAD input: to vreate a new line it now requires <shift>+<enter> instead of <enter>, which is kind of strange.

Hi Nik,
you can define a generic input action in the control panel, add condition to be active only on the openSCAD window and
send a Shift+Enter when Enter is pressed.

Hi Michele,

maybe I'm missing something, but I cannot get any input action to work with <enter>.

Nik

Hi Nik,
just did a test in Kate with the following action:
1) Action type "Generic"
2) Trigger: shortcut trigger "Return"
3) Keyboard input: "a:b:c:d:e:Enter", "Send input to" active window
4) no condition for simplicity

When I press Enter in Kate, I correctly see "abcde" typed in for me and then the enter. If you use "Shift+enter" as keyboard input, it should do what you wanted.

Hope it helps.
Cheers
  Michele
