OK. But how then can Konqueror show the files in the camera and let me copy or 
delete them?

I add a screenshot that, shows that while I can, as I say, copy and delete, I 
can't view the picture from the camera as Gimp says "location is not 
mountable".

So we have a location that is "not mountable" but can still be accessed. I 
didn't think that was possible :)
