Yes, that's what also Philippe suggested but it doesn't work here. Maybe 
because I have a german keyboard layout.

On my system the combination of keys to get "™" is this:

<AltGr> + <Shift> + <8> --> ™

which I know now since Nik in his other message kindly revealed the 
mystery of how to find it.
