said Edward: | Debian has released version 11, bullseye. Should the current TDE | (buster) packages work with bullseye until the packages are updated? A good general rule is to let things shake out a bit before upgrading to a new distribution. For instance, I run an LTS distribution -- and I wait a full year before upgrading -- ie., I upgraded to 20.04 this spring. There are no extra points or an increase in coolness for being the first person on your block to upgrade. The exception is when you maintain a separate testbed machine solely for the purpose of things such as answering your question. -- dep Pictures: http://www.ipernity.com/doc/depscribe/album Column: https://ofb.biz/author/dep/ ____________________________________________________ tde-users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web mail archive available at https://mail.trinitydesktop.org/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
