* Right click T-Menu button
* Hover Panel Menu
* Left click Configure Panel
* Left click Menus
* Under QuickStart Menu Items change ...
* ... Maximum number of entries to 0
* Left click OK

How have you been using KMenu all these years without ever having
used an application?
