Good question Nik,
asusming you are using the "align to grid" functionality, by a quick look in TCC it seems there isn't any way at the moment. I have not checked in the code to see if the grid size is customizable.

It would definitely be a nice feature to have though. Highly suggest you create a wishlist in TGW for tdebase so we don't forget about it and we can pick it up at some point in future.


Ok, a quick check in the code revealed the default spacing of TQIconView is used, which is 5 pixels. The spacing is not set anywhere in kdesktop, so most likely this is fixed for the time being.
